Fat-soluble extract of St. John's Wort – astringent, soothing, re-epithelizing
St. John's Wort extract is obtained from the flowering tops of Hypericum perforatum, a herbaceous plant of the Hypericum genus. The main substance, from the point of view of topical and cosmetic action, is hyperin, a flavonoid responsible for the soothing, anti-inflammatory, healing properties. and re-epithelializing. The high concentration of tannins, characteristic of freeze-dried extracts, shows excellent astringent properties, useful in the treatment of oily and impure skin.
Lavender Essential Oil – antiseptic, soothing, purifying
Lavender Essential Oil is known for its antiseptic and healing properties, it is used on the skin as an excellent remedy in case of burns, wounds, sores, it brings relief in the presence of insect bites, sunburn, irritation. For its decongestant and antiseptic properties, Lavender essential oil is particularly suitable in the formulation of cosmetics for the treatment of impure skin and skin prone to seborrhea, as well as for products intended for the treatment of greasy hair and scalp and dandruff.
Bisabolol - soothing, anti-reddening
It is obtained by distillation of chamomile essential oil and is mainly used as an inhibitor and calmer of redness of any nature. Bisabolol, thanks to its properties, is used for fragile and delicate skin and is effective as a soothing agent even in inflamed, red and irritated skin.
Vitamin E – antioxidant, hydrating, soothing
Among the Vitamins it is the most important: with antioxidant action, against free radicals, improves the condition of the skin, neutralizes peroxide radicals allowing the integrity of biological membranes, protects membrane lipids, stabilizes the effect of Vitamin A, defends against aging (UVA, UVB protection) by implementing an anti-aging action by stimulating the regeneration of the skin's epithelial cells. Topically It has a hydrating, anti-inflammatory and soothing action. Applied to the skin it reduces the formation of lipoperoxides and slows down photoaging
